I still feel no better, I'm not leaving the house hardly, I can't eat. God I just want this to end. I'm starting to think I have some kind of disease and this is not from pregnancy! I know all women feel different but is this normal? I feel so awful :(

I'm sorry you feel so grim, you would be very unlucky and rare to feel like this for the rest of your pregnancy, in fact in a couple of weeks you are likely to be feeling different.

Do make an appointment to talk it through with your doctor if you can't eat or drink anything.

I felt terrible in the early weeks too Chloe... spent most of the time in the bathroom or in bed. What exactly are your symptoms? A chat to your midwife/doctor?

sepa · 19/10/2015 19:30

Someone I know was sick daily until 6 months. Second pregnancy is heading the same way. Go to Drs and see if they can give you anything. Hopefully around 14 weeks you will start to feel better

I'm not being sick just constant nausea and I feel so run down. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow. I'm just feeling so yucky and unwell. I can't even really describe how I feel Sad
I feel bad for moaning about it but I'm starting to feel really low and down

Chin up as much as possible chloe. I remember crying in the phone to my mum about how terrible I felt at about eight weeks. She said soothingly "never mind, only six weeks or so to go". I just sobbed, wondering how I'd last five bloody minutes.

Fizzy cola bottles?? Lemonade ice lollies?

Chloe I think I felt like you too I wasn't being sick but continually nauseous. Lost 2 stone in 5 weeks. I was so tired I had to have a lie down if I walked up stairs!! I went to the GP and was prescribed cyclizine. It only took the edge off the nausea but It meant I could eat a little bit and the tiredness started to lessen at about 15 weeks, nausea continued until about 20-22weeks. You will get through this. It's definitely worth a visit to your GP though. I'm now pregnant for the second time and hoping I don't suffer the same again!! Smile

It's just horrid isn't it. I think it's worse as it goes on for weeks and weeks and you don't know when, or if it'll end. No advice, just a lot of sympathy. Got better around 14 - 16 weeks for me.

carbolicsoaprocked · 20/10/2015 00:08

Sorry to hear you're feeling like this. It's not at all unusual to feel crap at this point, it was 13 weeks until my morning sickness went. The rest of the pregnancy was a lot better from then and my appetite went up which made things easier to cope with. I was also less worried about my baby once I reached that beautiful 12 week milestone. Hopefully your midwife will be more help tomorrow.

I remember thinking in early pregnancy 'I don't think I can do this' and was seriously worried. Got to 14 weeks & everytung just disappeared! 30 weeks on Saturday & I often forget I'm pregnant because it's been so easy (I am aware it might get more uncomfortable from now!)

LBOCS2 · 22/10/2015 08:30

I get that too - not morning sickness per se, but a nausea which is constant and overwhelming. Mine always gets better at around 15 weeks.
