What do all the things on side of scan mean?

I probably should have asked them, I know. Too late now. Does anybody know what all these things mean?
I notice one part says 15.0cm, but surely that can't mean it's 15cm long?! I was only 12 weeks when they scanned.
Actually, I have been told I'm 12 weeks (or was at the time) dating scan confirmed this, but top of the scan says 13 weeks?
Do people actually know what all these things on scan pics mean, is it just me?

The 15cm could be the size of your uterus? No idea, never even looked at the ones on mine!

Hopefully a sonographer will be along presently.

the 15cm could relate to anything. It's unlikely they gave you an image showing the markers of what was measured, and its possible that the machine has just kept the "last thing done" showing. It's really easy to nudge it and make an inaccurate measure - which the operator will just ignore.

The can report (which usually goes in your notes) will have your crown rump length, nuchal thickness (assuming done) and gestational ages from the scan within it - the number on the picture could genuinely mean nothing

They normally relate to the setting on the machine being used and also say size of uterus and crown rump length and not much else to be honest. Majority of it though is the ultrasounds settings

Like the 22hz is the sound waves used and 15cm is the width of scanning screen normally

Ah, I see. Thank you. That makes more sense. I was worried for a moment that I'd be carrying some giant baby Grin
