3 weeks pregnant - a question

I am 3 weeks pregnant and have been spotting light brown blood a little over the past few days (just a tiny amount), I have no pains or anything (other than general tiredness!). My question is, is this anything I need to be worried about? And is it safe for me to have sex? I think I am neglecting my hubbie a bit now he has done his duty in knocking me up! Anyone got any advice?

probably an implantation bleed, but mention it to the MW at your booking in appt to be sure.

I wouldn't worry too much about it - it sounds like an implantation bleed. If you have no pains and it doesn't become heavy you should be fine. As far as I am aware it is safe to have sex unless you have a high risk pregnancy and have been advised not to by your Dr or consultant.
