Does anyone know how much 12wk scan photos are? I'm based in the East of England..not sure which NHS Trust our hospital is though I'm afraid. Any help gratefully received!

£5 in Essex but she gave us one extra for free Smile

£4 at Norwich. Exact change as you get a ticket from a machine.

Sighing · 17/10/2015 20:54

£10 each in Coventry (gits)

CrumpetHead · 17/10/2015 21:49

They're only £1 each in our hospital

ThedementedPenguin · 17/10/2015 22:09

Wow I didn't know you had to pay for them anywhere. I'm from Northern Ireland and I've never been charged.

I had a lot of scans with both pregnancies and thankfully was never charged.
At one scan with my girl I got 7 photos.
From 32 ish weeks I had a weekly scan with my girl and got photos at everyone.

MaryEllen1 · 18/10/2015 05:51

£5 for 3 in Essex, although our sonographer gave us a few and said stick them in your pocket lol Smile

ispyfispi · 18/10/2015 06:35

Wow there's a huge variation! Ours are £5 for 3 (correct cash) but our first scan was too early for NT so we got them for free, then got better ones the following week but I was sick while in there and she refused to take any money!

Cliffdiver · 18/10/2015 06:50

I'm in SE England.

Scans at the EPU were free.

12 week scan at the same hospital was a mandatory £5 for 2 pictures.

Different hospital for 20 week scan - 2/3 pictures for a donation.

bluewisteria · 18/10/2015 07:18

In London it was £5 donation but got loads of pics. At Exeter hospital now and completely free, got 2 pics at 20 weeks and she let me choose which.

RhubarbAndMustard · 18/10/2015 07:49

Free for 12 weeks scan pics in SE. Got 5 of them! Will find out about 20 week scan pics tomorrow but hoping free again.

31weeksgone · 18/10/2015 08:05

£10 here and it was two joined together.

31weeksgone · 18/10/2015 08:06

Should of said where I am, forgive me, 37 week pregnant baby brain Blush south west England.

Mouthfulofquiz · 18/10/2015 08:11

£12 for 3 here in a large south west hospital. It has gone up from £4 for 3 which it was 2 years ago!

Mouthfulofquiz · 18/10/2015 08:15

Which I think is an awful lot of money. I can remember a couple last time who were talking about not being able to afford the £4 for scan pictures and it did make me feel sad because although not a necessity, scan photos are such a lovely thing to have. (I think the pricing structure is £5 for 1, £10 for 2 and £12 for 3)

MrsExcited · 18/10/2015 08:19

£5 in Gloucestrrshire

Sarah2820 · 18/10/2015 08:49

Thank you everyone!

£2 each in Gateshead but I didn't have to pay for pics from early scans or the one I got at a fetal medicine clinic in a different hospital.

Sandsnake · 18/10/2015 10:00

Officially £5 for one and £10 for three but in reality the sonographer prints you off three whether you've paid or not. We paid at 12 and 20 weeks but didn't bother for our subsequent growth scans and still got pics each time (apart from most recent where he was hiding his face and all you could see was spine!).

We are in south west Surrey.
