I will be a 2nd time mum next spring. Made lots of mistakes with buying stuff - pram is great but came to loathe the mosesbasket... thinking of a snuzpod, baby born chair, a co sleeper crib - any ideas? Also, are perfect prep machones worth getting and a gro swaddle?

My best buy was motorola video monitor. Used almost every day for 2 years so far.

3 children in and all 3 have used

  • Moses
  • a baby bjorn until around 4/5 months
  • an ergo when bigger
  • cartons of formula until milk comes in
  • jumperoo (I hate that thing)
  • a handmedown down second hand bouncer thing - it's not a snazzy make but is large and does the job
All second hand or hand me down We never perfected the art of the push chair. First 2 had a handmedown which gave up eventually. It was shit but worked and I couldn't see the need for a spenny one. Then we got a travel system thing for 100 quid which was also shit but did the job.

My DSIS has sworn by CJ's butter for her DC. They've never had nappy rash and although it's ££ it lasts ages.

Have bought some in preparation for our LO's arrival in Feb.
