20wk ultrasound - bpd small head freak out

I had my 20wk scan today. I was told there was nothing to worry about but noticed on my results that the biparietal diameter (bpd) was 46.4mm which looks much below average. Cue fear and panic about brain baby's head and brain. Head circumference was 172mm so a bit below average. Any reassuring words or should I be worried?

My baby was predicted to be tiny (5th centile) with a really small head(

Thank you. I wonder if the date for mine is wrong. I know the exact date I had sex but the ultrasound estimated that the baby is 3 days older. Hmm I find it all confusing. I sort of wish they wouldn't give me the measurements as it only leads me to frantic googling.

I don't know the exact measurements, but at my 20 week scan my DC was shown to be average for most measurements but small of head. As a 5 year old he reamains average stature and slightly smaller than average head but seems to be of average smarts.

Hi, a small head (5th centile) and small other measurements (around 10th) were picked up at our 20 weeks scan. We had another scan 2 weeks later to monitor. The baby was breech, which apparently can affect the head measurement. Anyway, second scan confirmed small head but was growing along the centile appropriately. I have had a further scan at 26weeks and another due this week at 33 weeks. Consultatant isn't particularly concerned and my bump is measuring a few weeks behind, I suppose I'm just cooking a little one! My DS was 50thcentile all the way.
If there aren't any other signs of concern on the scan, try not to be too worried, but ask for another growth scan if you are
