Molar pregnancy and now sua pregnancy - does anyone have experience of both?

This is my first post, but I would really like to know if anyone else has been through both a molar pregnancy and a sua, as I'm now going through this and finding the worry hard.

I previously had a molar pregnancy and he follow up treatment with Charing Cross hospital (who were wonderful) and now have just found out at my 20 week scan that I have a sua. I had never heard of this so it was a shock especially after all the additional early scans I had to go through due to the complication of having an previous molar pregnancy, which showed things were fine.

I work full time and now just have to wait and see how the rest of the pregnancy goes, which is not easy, particularly as I am around a lot of pregnant colleagues with normal pregnancies. Reading the internet was probably not helpful either as I've now got myself worked up and after the molar experience, percentage stats don't mean anything to me.

Any advice on how to get through the coming weeks would be appreciated x

Did your 12 week scan results come back as a low risk for any abnormalities?

Very sorry you are going through this, I hope that the hospital are giving you lots of advice. From what I have read, many babies are absolutely fine.

Please try not to worry too much, at present your baby is growing, moving and I hope that you have lots of extra reassurance appointments.

Is that the one artery in the umbilical cord? If so it is pretty common.
1 in around 100 will have this, my sister did (she had a twin pregnancy)

Some hospitals don't even check for it as it can be considered to be a normal variant.

Thanks so much for your comments and great to have some reassurance. Yes everything has been fine until now. I had never heard of sua before so really good to hear some good comments - thank you
