Mucus plug

Today I went toilet and had green gooy stuff on my tissue then I had brown gooy stuff in my knickers abit later, I've been getting mild tightenings not regular and there not painful, I was wondering is this my mucus plug coming away?

How far gone are you?

Mine went a week before I went into labour, looked like a lump of translucent yellowish phlegm streaked with blood about the size of my thumb.

I'm 38 weeks with my 2nd but never got this before with my 1st, mine wasn't a lot atal I just noticed it

You might find more of the same stuff comes out over the next 24 hours or so. If you're unsure or worried, ring your midwife - whenever I've rung with a seemingly daft question or several, they've always reassured me and brought me in if they feel it's worth checking out.
