Anyone else feel really spaced out and weird after taking anti sickness drugs?

I don't suffer any side effects personally, but drowsiness is one of the ones warned about. Have a read of the patient information leaflet inside. If you are experiencing something not listed on there, ring the manufacturers to report it.

Cyclizine turns me into a zombie. I had to switch back to buccal tablets after a while because I just couldn't focus whilst on them.

How long have you been taking them? The side effects might die down with time but if they don't there are many other meds you could try.

I took them for a week-ish and I had to ask to be put on something else!! Yes they got rid of the sickness but I felt so ill in other ways! I had to sleep all afternoon and didn't feel like me at all. Really spaced out. I remember especially a trip to Tesco with my husband and I had to lean on the trolly for support and beg hubby to take us to the tills as soon as possible and take me home before I blacked out! In the end I took avomine which was much better. I suffered afternoon sleepiness which did get better as time went on, but nothing like the zombie wreck I was on cyclizine.

Yes, cyclizine makes me very sleepy. It really works for my sickness though and the side effects are only bad for the first day. Now that I know this, I wouldn't go to work or drive on the first day of taking it. Seems to be different for everyone though.
