Thanks in advance to all the replies

I am 7weeks with my first and I feel hungry all the time- I have no other symptoms now and feel normal except feeling hungry every one hour. Is that normal to eat like this when you are just 7 weeks - I am just worried as there are no symptoms (36 years) or could it be a sign I am having twins (no family history)

I was the same in my first trimester - starving all the time, I just couldn't eat enough. I too thought I might be having twins (we do have a family history) but we had our 12 week scan and it's just one in there. I lost my appetite after 13 weeks and now at 16 weeks, it'd back to normal.

7 weeks and 1 day with second.....hungry constantly! thought it might be twins too but scanned at 5+5 and theres only one in there! ive seen another thread this morning about this too, the OP is 8 weeks and starving all the time so I think it must be normal!

besides the pains (period like pains) I have no other 'symptoms', feel fine just feel the need to eat all the time.....its only 20 past 12 and already I have eaten a rather large bowl of cereal, 3 pieces of fruit and a bar of chocolate oops! and just ordered my dinner to get here earlier than the usual 1pm when my lunch break is!

the last 2 weeks I have just needed anything starchy but seems to be wearing off a little now, a week ago that wouldn't have been 3 pieces of fruit that would have been crisp and white bread!

Congratulations on the pregnancy!

If being hungry meant a multiple pregnancy, I should have three or four in there! There's only one, thank goodness (unless the others are really good at hiding).

I was hungry as a horse at the same time as feeling queasy from the 'morning' sickness (somebody should get around to re-naming that). I'm happy that things are back to normal at 14 weeks for me.

Just try to eat healthy if you can! (I failed...Blush)
