I've only been in my job since February so I'm claiming maternity allowance.
I started maternity leave on the 5th October. I got a letter through on Monday saying I will get a payment for 5/10 - 14/10 and then payments will be every 2 weeks starting from 28th October....
My question is about the first payment for the 5-14th. Will I receive this tomorrow or on the 28th?
I've never claimed anything before and not sure how it works!
