Hi all..

Im 40+2, think i had my "show" this morning around 7.30am, wasnt a lot like 3 specs of blood.

Been to toilet just now and had another spec, wondering how long after did you go into labour?

i had mine at 4-30 on a Sunday morning, DS was born at 6-45 on Monday morning. He was ten days late, I did call the hospital on the Sunday morning and went in for a check up. All good and 1cm dilated, might be worth giving them a call just to get checked out? Sure all is fine, sometimes these things take a while, my SIL took two days after hers.

Good luck! Hope all goes well xx

Four or five weeks (don't think that will be the case for you though!)

First show following a stretch and sweep on the Wednesday. Rest of it on the Sunday, DD born on the Monday morning.

My "show" was more than a few specks (more a bloody mucus plug), labour within about 24 hrs. Happened twice (2 DC).

Dogsmom · 13/10/2015 22:12

I lost my plug after a sweep at 38 weeks and dd was born 6 days later.

Going on three weeks now since I lost my plug and nothing yet. But I was only 36 weeks when I lost it so I was glad my little lady decided to wait. Now of course I want her out ASAP. I'm 38+5 and ready to pop!
