In those rubbish weeks where you have a positive pregnant test and nothing else! I hate this bit, don't feel pregnant, worrying all is ok. Debating whether to get an early scan in few weeks?

Congratulations on being pregnant. How far along are you? Personally I wouldn't book an early scan before eight weeks, as I don't think they always provide the reassurance we seek before then.

Only 4 and a bit weeks but I found out a week ago so it seems ages already! Thinking of a scan at around 7-8 weeks, not 100% sure of dates. Had one at 6 weeks with DD but it was NHS as I had needing, think id like the reassurance this time as well.

You often can't see a baby's heartbeat until after six weeks and if your dates are out by a few days, a scan at seven weeks could cause worry. If you can hold out until you think you are eight weeks, I would go then. Hope everything goes well for you. Smile
