Pregnant? Help

Hi, I've just joined for some advice. I'm approx 1 week late withy my period. Since its been due I've had the usual PMT symptoms of period pains, moods, sore breasts, back pain etc but no period. The PMT symptoms have been here a week. I just done a Clearblue test and the control window worked. It's verticle. On the actual test results there is a very dark blue verticle line and a REALLY faint horizontal line.
What does everyone think? Pregnant? Not? Or something else

Yep that's a line. Is this a good thing for you OP? If so then congrats.

Oh and that line isn't faint!

It is a good thing, I'm a newly wed but wasn't quite expecting anything soon. You don't think the PMT symptoms are anything worrying? I've made a docs app so fingers crossed!

All of those sound fine, early pregnancy symptoms are pretty similar to PMT!

When I was pregnant with dd I was convinced I was coming on my period for days. Turns out I was pregnant - all the same symptoms

Also I felt like I was about to come on my period for the first few weeks of being pregnant, the symptoms are very similar.

Nothing worrying about the PMT symptoms, that's exactly how I found out with my first little one, had all the symptoms but didn't come on, so googled it! Every link seemed to be about being in early pregnancy, so got a test and there it was confirmed. I too was stunned, but so happy! He is absolutely the best thing I have ever done with my life! Congratulations!! Xx

The PMT symptoms result from the progesterone, which is high in early pregnancy. And that line is very distinct for "clear"blue, as they tend to the faint/ washed out.

Congratulations!! I had all the signs that I was about to start my period just before I found out I was pregnant! I remember the give away being that my boobs were a lot more tender

Are you wanting a BFP? Could well just be early days! My friend didn't show on any at all, including the doctors blood test for a good 3 for weeks! You do look to have a faint second line on that first one. Are you taking them first thing? X

I couldn't see any difference between the one in that link and becs first one, April. Seems like a positive then! X

I have done them in afternoon. will have to try again first thing x

Always best to do with first wee of the day, I know how hard it can be! X
