And contractions (although not really regular or painful, they've been going on all day)

Please please please keep your fingers crossed that something miraclous happens!

I'm 10 days overdue and trying for a home birth which is being threatened by an induction looming on Thursday.

RockerMummy184 · 12/10/2015 16:40

Good luck OP. Hoping they get stronger soon....but don't take any painkillers til you're in proper labour, they can halt everything and it's infuriating!

Iloveonionchutney · 12/10/2015 16:40

Good luck!
I'm only 1 day over and having a few twinges today, so hoping not to go too far over (my dd was 13 days late)

Dixiechick17 · 12/10/2015 16:44

Sounds promising. I had a similar day irregular tightenings, bloody show, then 1am the following morning my waters started going at my DD had arrived by 7.17am. Fingers crossed for you.

bluey11 · 12/10/2015 16:44

Scattymum101 · 12/10/2015 18:30

Good luck. My show was the start of labour for both my girls.
I lost my plug on Thursday afternoon and had my lovely homebirth with dd2 around 24 hours later. Hope it all goes smoothly xx

AnnieOnAMapleLeaf · 12/10/2015 18:34

Good luck OP. That sounds very promising. The one tip my midwife gave me that worked like a treat is to walk up and down the stairs with your legs spread wide. It opens your pelvis apparently and helps bring the baby down. I don't know if there is any evidence to support it, but it worked for me!

Every1KnowsJeffTheJerkOlantern · 12/10/2015 18:55

Thanks all. Still having tightenings. Come on baby Jeff!! Grin
