I'm certain I have a uti any survival tips?

I am demented here weeing all night constant need to go then it's a dribble. Also when I wipe the wee had a pinky-bloody tinge.

Will need to make a Dr appointment tomorrow . Just wondering though will they give me an antibiotic? I'm 24 weeks.

Does anyone have any tips to survive the night? I need sleep so bad

I have one too ... The doc gave me amoxicillin. You can take paracetamol for the pain, also could try a hot water bottle. I think you can take a little baking soda in water to counter the burn... Have a Google.

Oh God it's awful isn't it ? I can't stay off the loo for more then 15 minutes then I'm back on . It better be away by Tuesday I can't take any time off uni . I may be sleeping on the loo tonight feeling sorry for myself

As much water as you can drink. Mix some bicarb in water and have that if you have some, tastes awful but helps. Avoid cranberry juice. Avoid caffeine. I am a uti veteran!

I have taken my last antibiotic tonight after 7 days but I still feel like I have been kicked down there.

Give your midwife a call, you'll prob speak to delivery suite at this time on a weekend, they may be able to sort you out with a doctor who can give you some antibiotics, the sooner you get them into you the better

The more you drink the more comes out and the less it hurts!

Argh I feel your pain I've had four of these since being pregnant

Drink lots of water and get some antibiotics. I (stupidly) left one a bit too late and got a kidney infection which felt like I was being sawn in half for 3 days.

Also a heads up... The antibiotics for a UTI strips you of any bacteria down below - even the good kind. Every time I've taken them I've had savage thrush afterwards so stock up on canesten too!

Not pleasant though hope you get it sorted soon!

Before you take the antibiotics buy yourself a weeks supply of yakult. Helps prevent thrush

I think you should get to the doctors or walk in clinic asap. I've suffered with them throughout my pregnancy and now have a kidney infection - it is better to catch it early.

Thanks everyone I had to put my phone away last night cos I was just in and out the loo all night. I'm at the Dr's now so hopefully get some antibiotics .
