I have thankfully managed to escape a nasty bout of sinusitis right up until now - I'm 35 weeks.

I've had chronic sinusitis in the past and used steam/hot baths/tea etc to get through it, but paired with my bad back, and other general pregnancy complaints it's currently unbearable and I'm getting no sleep whatsoever.

I can't find reliable info anywhere online to say I shouldn't be taking Otrivine spray to relieve the symptoms but no way am I going to wait 5 days for a GP appointment to double check.

Anyone know if it's ok? I can't use Neti Pots or similar as I have a phobia of drowning and find them torture to use.

Thanks in advance Smile

No idea about Otrivine. But have you tried Sterimar? It's sterile saline in an aerosol spray thing, so good for washing out. Bit it's not drown like a neti pot, it's just whooshy like a nasal spray, but with no drugs.
