I know everyone is different and no pregnancies are the same. But when do you really start to notice your body change and when do you start to show?
I'm 13 + 6 and about a size 16 so obviously I get i won't show this early as I have a bit of a belly. But through no fault I have lost 6 lbs in these first few weeks so in my head I'm thinking I should feel my tummy getting harder etc. I'm making myself a little paranoid and thinking is my baby growing. What are other people's experiences or answers. Any would be greatly appreciated.

1st pregnancy I could still fit in my motorbike leathers at 20 weeks and wore normal clothes probably for about another 3 weeks after that - I was a size 10/12.

This one I started as a size 14 and I was desperate for maternity clothes by 12 weeks. Older, fatter and stomach muscles not as good as they used to be!

I am 34 weeks and it's only the last 3/4 weeks or so people have felt able to say 'congratulations' without me telling them I'm pregnant first! I'm a size 8-10 and usually have a flat-ish stomach (never again, I know!) but it took me ages to 'show' properly. I really stressed myself out worrying if baby was OK and if I'd ever get a bump, but when it suddenly 'popped' and I started to show, I've got big quickly and there's no mistaking it now! Along with a big bump comes discomfort and niggles, so make the most of having only a little bump whilst you can! :)

Oh, and in terms of your belly feeling hard, it happened for me later on - it is really hard now most of the time at 34 weeks, but for a long time the bump would disappear when I lay down! This picture (hope I've attached it OK!) shows how big your womb gets as baby grows and I found it helpful to understand how my bump was developing.

I'm 24 weeks and my bump 'popped' at about 18 weeks. Have people leaping out of tube seats for me now and commenting on how 'well' (read: bloody huge) I'm looking. Didn't really have a noticeable bump at all before that though - I'm 6ft tall and normally size 10-12.

this is my first and when I got caught i was a size 8/10 I didn't really start to show till I was about 22 weeks. I could see a small bump coming but nothing to people who didn't know. I'm now 27 weeks and I look massive. within a few weeks my bump has grew. it's shocking. people are asking if I'm pregnant, I think it's a silly question to ask so I tell them I'm prone to bloat. you should see their faces drop with embarrassment
