Icky Belly Button

I got my belly button pierced when I was in my early 20's. Took it out a few years later and forgot about the whole thing.

I'm now nearly 40, and 36 weeks into my second pregnancy and all of a sudden the old piercing hole has become red, a bit swollen and when I really squeeze it, a little bit of pus comes out.

Unsurprisingly I've prodded and poked the whole area so much that it is now even more sore, red and swollen and I can't decide whether I should put something on it or leave best alone?

Also, my inny is now an outy and my only stretch mark is around the pierced place.

Any advice internet?

I cleaned out that hard puss stuff years ago so nothing came out but my second pregnancy my inny bellybutton became an outy much to my horror!

It is now back to being an inny Smile

Mine has started to stretch and go red. I clean it out with savalon solution spray and salted water, much as I did when I first got it pierced!

Mine went sore. I just cleaned it with salt water and it eventually healed up. My inny became and outy and finally now at four months post birth it is an inny again.

My ex belly piercing hasn't had anything 'come out', but the old scar has not only split, but also gained some stretchmarks as friends Hmm. However, I hate to take my piercing out due to it getting infected in the first place - salt wash and tea-tree washes should fix it right up. If it continues, see a doctor.

Same thing here, old piercing went a bit red and pussy I'm a squeezer so probably made it worse cleared up after a few days of tea tree oil and restraint.
