I haven't had anything weird nor gone off anything but now at 30 weeks I am addicted to carrot sticks, tuna jacket potatoes and lemonade!!

Earlier on I ate a lot of salt and vinegar crisps, macaroni cheese and quiche.

I haven't had any extremes where I have had to send the OH half out on a late night shopping trip though lol

Interested to hear what everyone has been munching on?

Chocolate and also cheese and pickle so nothing weird just more often than what I used to eat them

Heavenscent86 · 07/10/2015 11:17

I seem to be addicted to cheese. Find myself breaking chunks off the block of cheddar in my fridge to just sit and eat. Last week I went through two big blocks. I think I'm having a cheese baby. Does this mean It's a boy lol?

My SIL who craved cheese and marmite had a boy and my other SIL who craves chocolate had a girl so they followed the midwives tales Grin

heaven I've gone crazy for babybels and smoked cheddar and I'm having a boy...

That said I have also developed a taste for hot chocolate that I never used to have so I think the jury may still be out!

thestylethatdecadesforgot · 07/10/2015 11:47

Me too for salt and vinegar crisps! I have HG though so it's just something I think I can eat. The taste of anything sweet in my mouth makes the sickness worse. I even bought some marmite the other day too. Also cheese last week but don't fancy it this week!

rubybloom2 · 07/10/2015 11:50

Chocolate in all forms... Hot chocolate, milkshakes, ice cream whatever!

For a few weeks, it was cheese as well, particularly on jacket potatoes and sandwiches.

These are two things I like normally, but just been consuming more of them, more often!

I need to rein it in though as not so good for weight gain!

RedZeppelin · 07/10/2015 12:08

26 weeks and craving Itsu crispy seaweed thins.

Also eating far too many sweets & chocolate which I really ought to substitute for fruit. Not looking forward to the post-pregnancy diet!

Heavenscent86 · 07/10/2015 12:23

Cheese seems to be helping my sickness atm but I also find myself wanting it all the time regardless. I've never eaten so much cheese. Wish I was craving chocolate too like you other ladies but I've gone right off that.

Focusfocus · 07/10/2015 12:30

I've just polished off two huge choco chip muffins sitting in my car in the tesco car park.
I do not like sweet things, I proactively detest sweets. Go figure.
Am 37 weeks ongoing.

Zamaz · 07/10/2015 14:04

The most un-natural tasting crisps available: Bacon Frazzles, Bacon Wheat Crunchies, Discos, Squares, Space Raiders, Wotsits etc etc...!

Also I have a total 'smell craving' for rubber bands! I carry one round with me and sniff it!

Sighing · 07/10/2015 14:42

I've gone through: spinach; Marmite & cheese; egg & tomato sandwiches; watermelon; steak; latest one is smoothies (homemade, fortunately). None of them are crazed fridge raiding. But once I get a thought for eating the thing I can't shake it.

ThePug · 07/10/2015 14:43

zamaz Grin at the thought of you sniffing your rubber band!

I'm 18 weeks and went through a stage of cheddar cheese obsession. I've reined it in a bit now, but still partial to a few slices when I'm in the kitchen. Salted peanuts is another thing I've eaten more of than usual.

I thought I was having a girl, but these foods are now making me suspect a boy. 2 weeks til we find out!

Zamaz · 07/10/2015 15:00

Haha I know the rubber bands thing is a bit weird! I went into Halfords the other day and the smell of the rubber car tyres / car mats / bike tyres was just dreamy! I have read that smell cravings are not that unusual in pregnancy though - anyone else have them or is it just me?!

sizethree · 07/10/2015 15:51

Totally with you on the salt and vinegar crisps and quiche. I was big on tomato juice, it was so delicious!
Now at 36 weeks I'm all about these Mediterranean roasted veg giant couscous packets from Asda. Can't get enough of them.

ThePug · 07/10/2015 17:19

Oh I should have added chicken & mushroom Pasta 'n' Sauce. Luckily on offer in Sainsburys at the moment so that's lunches sorted. I licked my plate clean of all the sauce yesterday it was so delicious
