Currently 37+6 with DC2 and since the early hours of Tuesday morning I have been having some mild period type cramping. Yesterday it was very on and off, nothing very regular, some were worse than others but I could generally get on with my day (did feel a bit sicky and kept getting very hot every now and then). They seemed to stop overnight but have returned again this morning.

I was induced at T+11 with DD and the contractions I had with her were immediate and very intense but I never had anything prior to being induced so can't compare the pregnancies.

Just looking for some advice/stories from you lovely ladies.

I had braxton hicks all day then around 11pm regular period pains, waters started to go at 1am and then the contractions hit. I did have on off period pains in the weeks leading up to that, but they were regular just before I popped. I timed them as I would if it was a contraction

I've been having period-like pains (usually mild, but the odd spell of more intense ones that seem to be coming regularly, then stop) since about 36.5 weeks. Am currently exactly 40 weeks with no sign of baby. Sorry!

In my last pregnancy I had no cramping prior to waters breaking then contractions starting at 40+13
