Chromosome Inversion

Hello, I've just joined today and am worried about some tests that have been done. We had a 3.4 Nuchal fold or 1:13 chance of there being a problem. Earlier, I had the results back that there is a different issue been identified. An inverted chromosome .. ( I think it was 7 ).. my partner and I both have to go in for a blood test tomorrow, to see if the inversion is passed on. If it is, from what I can gather - then everything is not too bad. If if isn't passed on, that makes it 'de novo' or new and there will possibly be other implications. I am sure that everyone will know just how anxious I am at being in this process .. does anyone have any experience of this issue at all? I am 13 weeks pregnant and the first scan was done last Friday. Thank you.

Ps I assume that the nuchal fold risk thing is now NOT the case. So that is good :-) But there is the inverted chromosome thing!!

Didn't want to read and run.
I can't be much help I'm afraid; some chromosome inversions are not a problem (even if it is de novo, or a new mutation) Genetic counselling are really supportive so your best bet is to wait and discuss and try to stay away from Dr Google
Hoping for a happy result ThanksThanks
