TTC the 2nd time around longer than expected ?? Anyone had a similar experience?

I was wondering if anyone had any trouble falling pregnant the 2nd time around My husband and I have been TTC for 6 months now, almost 2 years since our daughter was born at 31 weeks. (first time was 3 months so very quickly) My cycles that were always spot on are very irregular now late, and sometimes 2-3 days early. Did anyone ever have any similar issues? If not, did it take you longer to conceive 2nd time around. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thank you

Yes. First DC conceived before we decided we would try, almost.

Second took 18 long, dispiriting months. Had an HSG to check everything ok, that seemed to unblock the tubes and it happened right away.

Keep your spirits up. Go see a doctor afterv6 months if over 35.

Me too. Dd1 was the first time we drunkenly agreed we would ttc.

Dd2 took took over a year and 2 mc.

We had put off ttc dc2 because I had thought it would happen quickly so consequently the age gap between dd1 and dd2 is bigger than l had originally wanted but it's turned out well.

The worst thing was when people expected me to be happy because l at least had dd1.

Yes. Ds1 took 5 minutes to conceive. Ds2 took 1 year and a miscarriage. Ds3 took 2 years (18 months of active trying). No reason ever found despite having some investigations prior to conceiving ds3.

It's very common to have this happen and it's usually due to being a couple of years older.

Don't hesitate to see your doctor to get the cause of your irregular cycles investigated, especially if you are over 35.

My first dd was a pill mistake - really. DS took 9 months and a miscarriage to conceive

1st time took 9 months. 2nd time 2.5 years and a discovery of PCOS along the way. I also had the HSG and conceived that month....
