ARGH so many mattresses and they vary so greatly in price! Can you guys recommend a good cot bed mattress so I can narrow it down a little?

Thanks!

Everyone I knows raves about little green sheep's natural mattresses, so that's what we've gone for our cot. We've got a similar one from mothercare for our crib as well, made from wool and coconut coir.

Yup was coming here to recommend little green sheep. Bought the snuzpod and the mattress and all the bedding from there and it really is all good quality. And it's all organic so you don't have to worry about any chemicals.

With my first, I bought the cheapest mattress to go with the cotbed (which I paid a fortune for) got my priorities massively wrong there. Mattress was vile, foamy and went discoloured really quickly. And DS1 didn't give a toss about the pretty cot, obviously.

John Lewis for us. I think we got the pocket spring one. No complaints from DD!
