Hey all, have been flitting between conception and pregnancy group So am posting in both. I have definitely lost this pregnancy, have come on my period fully over night which to be honest just feels like a completely normal monthly period. Hopefully will use this boosted fertility and jump back on the horse. It's actually a good lesson in understanding your body I think as I very much felt 'pregnant' and then very 'not pregnant' before my period came. What do I do now by the way? Do you have to get checked out or have anything done at this early stage? X

Sorry to hear of your loss. I had a loss at 11 weeks last year. Have you found the Miscarriage threads? Lots of lovely support there- it's in Body and Soul.
The main thing to do now is that you should make sure you have a negative pregnancy test before you try again otherwise if you see a positive quite quickly, you won't know if it's a new pregnancy or not. It's probably worth popping to the GP just to let them know. If you don't have a negative test in the next couple of weeks, it would be a good idea to go to your nearest epu to make sure the mc was complete.
Very best wishes.

I miscarried last year (year ago yesterday) at 6w1d, I let nature take its course, then took a pregnancy test 3 days later to confirm it negative. I didn't go to the GP because I passed it all at home. When I went for my smear a month later, I mentioned it to the nurse and she said that unless I had a temperature and felt unwell, staying at home was completely normal.

Just keep an eye on your temp and how you're feeling. I believe you can try as soon as you like, although the nurse said leave it one cycle, however, I left it a year and now 6w3d...a year after my first loss!

Keep an eye on yourself, and sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss op Flowers

I had a very early loss in Sept 2009. Took a test when my period was late, it was positive, but 2 days later started to bleed. I saw the nurse because I'd never had anything like that happen before. They were quite blasé about it and just said to rest, there was nothing that could be done except lose the pregnancy naturally and that if I started to feel flu like symptoms, aching, temperature etc or had smelly loss to go back.

I fell pregnant with my 5 year old straight away but, although I wasn't advised to at the time, perhaps leave it one cycle for your body to recover.

Im so sorry xxx

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks where I ended up in hospital with suspected ectopic but it was fine.

When I miscarried at 5 weeks it was just like a normal period and I just did a test again a few days later and then a week later to make sure hormone levels were going down.

Hope you're ok xx
