Backache

Hi,
I'm just wondering how much backache is normal and how much is enough to ask for help?
I am 32 weeks and have been fine except for anaemia and tiredness. But in the last few weeks I've had bad backache. I am able to work, but by the afternoon I'm very sore, and in the evening every movement hurts.
Should I be asking to see a physio or is this just what many people put up with in pregnancy?
Thanks

Hi Cornish, from personal experience there seems to be a lot of 'put up with it' attitude to back ache. Both times in pregnancy I've had it to a certain degree and never had more advice from the midwife / gp than 'paracetamol and hot water bottle'.

After crying on my GP I did get a physio referral, but it of course takes time, which you don't really have in pregnancy. Both times I've gone private out of desperation and gone to see a chiropractor (although another thread on here suggests osteopaths might be better) .
