So much pressure!

I'm 38+1 and bump had most definitely dropped in the last week, the last couple of days have been agony with pressure down below and every baby movement hurts. I swear it's trying to tunnel it's way out, anyone else get this?

Its really normal, sorry! There is the weight of the baby plus the waters all sitting on your cervix.

I find sitting on a birth ball helps as it seems to distribute the weight somehow!

I don't remember having it this bad with my first, my dh is convinced the baby is coming this week so every pain is encouraging him.
Fingers crossed it won't be much longer I was 13 days late with my first I can't stick another four weeks of this!

I remember this with my first. You've made me seriously doubt how good an idea it was to invite the world and his wife to stay for Christmas when I'll be 38/39 weeks though so thanks for the reality check! Hope you don't have to wait too long until the baby comes.
