Hi so i've just turned 33 and been having mild cramps/pressure the last few days but no af so after google I did 3 tests, different brands, and they were all faint positive. Had a panic moment as not planned but 100% wanted, and as I'm in a long distance will only tell OH when its confirmed. Seeing GP next week. Been googling for the last few hours and read about evap line, cp and mmc so slowly getting freaked coz even though not planned i know i will be devastated if anything went wrong.

So here i am looking for company with people in similar circumstances, over 30 baby #1 early days for the journey, I'm about 4-5 weeks along.

Hi I'm 10 and a half weeks so not quite as early, but I can really relate to the not 100% planned but 100% wanted feeling. At first I was in so much shock and I was upset that I was pregnant but desperate for everything to be ok-very contradictory feelings! My DH keeps telling me to stop using Google because I'm really freaking myself out re what could go wrong.

Keep us posted on your journey!

The gp is unlikely to confirm the pregnancy! They'll tell you how to book in the midwife and advise you to take folic acid but that's about it! Congratulations.

Thanks, so I had been having mild cramps and today I wanted to cry when i saw the pink stain on the tissue, felt like AF was coming, but it has now stopped completely, nothing when I wipe. thats why I did a CB digital and it came up pregnant 1-2weeks. So its official and i'm very excited.

I've told my mum as i will need her support and just needed to be able to talk to someone. She was visibly shocked but is happy for me and cant wait to be a grandmother. She just did not imagine i would do it this was.

Congratulations!!
Hi, I'm 31 found out on Friday I'm pregnant with #1 and currently 4weeks +3 days.
I've had cramps since Thursday, thought it was AF to start with. The cramps stopped yesterday but today I've had stabbing pain in my stomach. I've been told this is normal has your body is stretching out but I still hate going to the toilet and hoping not to find any blood.
When you phone up they will tell you if you've done a home test to confirm your pregnancy you just get a booking in appointment with the midwife for when you are around 8 weeks. Mine has then sent me a email telling about diet, excerise etc and what we'll talk about at the appointment.
Hope that helps.

Congrats to you too!!

I'm seeing my GP on Wednesday and I'm sure it will be just to say see a midwife by week 8. If I couldn't from last period I'm 4 weeks as well but will wait to be confirmed by them next week. Google will be the death of me coz now every little things sends me into a mini panic. Coz it's all new and part of me wishes I had been oblivious for a few more weeks. Will be a wreck by the time week 12 comes along. Who know 2 months could feel like an ertanity.

The cramps have completely stopped so feeling more confident. Would be great to have a buddy for the next few months ??

Congratulations! I'm 6 weeks so I feel your pain with the googling!

Just try not to do it and focus on all of the exciting things like eating healthily and preparing you home and distract yourself that way Smile

I'm just 4 weeks, I'm not working and becoming completely obsessed. I found out on Monday and have a GP appointment a week today. I'm trying really hard not to get excited as I'm 38, overweight and been ttc for nearly 2 years. Google needs to be banned. With Smart phones it so hard to get away from it all. Every little question goes straight into Google.

Congratulation zippy and tiffany

Glad to have some company - its all very exciting today, (my mum is also excited and her support and love have made so much of a difference, very happy that despite being freaked out i told her right away) now cant wait for each milestone and 9 moths feels like a lifetime away but I will enjoy it coz when the baby comes everything will change.

Zippy my GP is next week too, due on 2nd June according google Blush. its a waiting game, we all just need to take it day by day. Its extra scary coz i have no idea what to expect.

Tiffany cant wait for 6 weeks then 8 then 12 and so on, i will just have to accept that i will be a google addict for the duration i'm sure.

This made me smile, because exactly a year ago yesterday I got my BFP, also unplanned, was also 33 and was shocked but Happy. The first weeks waiting for your first scan feel like forever but the rest of it flies by, my DD was born 1st June, wishing you all happy healthy pregnancies. I kept a week by week diary, and kept myselfas busy as possible :D
