I became 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby on Thursday but yesterday, whilst I was sleeping, my cat jumped off the wardrobe onto my stomach. A few hours later I started bleeding, it was fairly heavy but not any worse than a usual period. It was dark red blood to start with and later on in the night I had moderate/heavy cramping in the night for a few hours. Today the bleeding is bright red but considerably lighter and no cramping and there's been no clots that I've noticed.

I'm booked in for a scan on Monday morning and been advised to bed rest but I'm in pieces, I need to know! Everyone is telling me to keep positive as it could be anything that caused the bleed. I'm also asked if I still feel pregnant but I don't know if I do or I don't. I thought about doing a pregnancy test but I'm scared it'll show positive but the scan shows otherwise.

I'm so scared I've lost my baby that I even prayed to God to save my baby, last night. And even fell asleep cuddling the teddy I bought for little bean. My heart is truly broken.

Has anyone else been through this, and what was the outcome? Any advice would be great.

Hey
Just wanted to reply, really sorry to hear how worried you are.
I've had a couple of losses, but they were in certain terms.
You have to be brave. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
These are only words, I know, but try to relax and go easy on yourself.
I'll be thinking of you on MondayFlowers

I'm sorry that you are going through this, it's a worrying time. IF you are miscarrying (and it's a big if) I think it's unrelated to the cat- I have three and they jump all over my belly, total disregard for my discomfort.

I hope the scan brings good news.

And don't bother with a test, they can show positive up to 6 weeks after a loss.

How did you go? Hope you're okay.
