Did Vit B6 after ovulation help to get you pregnant?

Hi all. I have been TTC for a long while now, with PCOS. I have just had my first round of Clomid and ovulated earlier, feeling full of hope. I am now 13 dpo and see the downword fall of my temperature since 8DPO and pretty certain my period is coming tomorrow. I want to take Vit B6 to increase my progesterone level and read that you can take 200mg after ovulation. Has anyone else tried it? If so, what do you do after you get your BFP? Reduce it? How long did you continue it? Thank you very much for any advice.

Yes - but I have low ovarian reserve and had poor egg quality. You need 50mg at least though. I didn't do temping though but I got my sticky bfp ( a few mc before).
Best £3 I spent I took it all the time though not just after ovulation.

I think so, I fell pregnant the first month of using it after 18 months ttc.

I use Inositol which I think is B6 and I have PCOS, I have fallen pregnant 3 times within aa month or two of taking it. No sign of a BFP before taking it.
I took 3x 650mg a day.

I tried taking increased B6 to regulate my cycles, which had gone funny after multiple miscarriages. My advice would be to stay clear - high doses of B6 can have really strong side effects, and I gave up because it made me feel so awful (stomach cramps, sickness etc).
Have you had your progesterone levels tested? That's an easy blood test, and if they are really low, then they should prescribe you the progesterone pessaries.

Wow, good results from taking it. Mrs Glam that is a lot of B6, did a doctor recommend? I have been to the Dr several times and they do the Day 21 test and sometimes it's ok but more often because I havent even ovulated then, its low.
I went private to a fertility centre in the summer who gave me Clomid this cycle. I will go to them for Day 21 in future as they give the result the same day and can monitor the progesterone. I am going to be away next cycle though so thought I would just take Vit B6 after ovulation and take 100mg a day.

It is alot but I have researched it a lot not a Dr prescription. You buy it in health stores, basically your body will get rid of what it doesn't need. It's worked for a huge number of ladies.

Mrs Glam, thank you. I didn't know the body gets rid of what it doesn't need. I was going to take 200mg a day but got scared of overdoing it so took 100 mg. I hope it works for me too. It's a shame my GP has not bothered advising

50 mg - it actually solved so many issues ( mostly bad skin and insomnia) but after 3 years no Dr saying I had enough eggs for own egg I've but 2 mc which showed I could at least get a bfp I had nothing to lose - I was also a few months from turning 40
