Weird pain 'down there'

I am in bed and getting some sharp pains in my lady regions (I am trying to be so polite!) I am only 12 weeks and a bag of nerves at the moment about my scan on Friday. But I am not sure if the pains are from a spin class I did earlier and an uncomfortable seat or should I be worried? It's not my tummy. Thanks everyone for always being there for these moments.

Is it a sharp pain (as opposed to throbbing period-type pain?). I don't think that's much to worry about, could be early SPD. Try not to fret, good luck for the scan Flowers

Me and my friend call it shooting fanny pain haha. We both get it with our pregnancies, nothing to worry about I think it's just a nerve thing. It doesn't go away, just makes you look like a fool when you get in the middle of Asda and you "Ooh!" And do a weird leg thing Grin

Shooting fanny pain describes it perfectly!!

Hi Vashta, thanks for the good luck for the scan. What is 'SPD'?

The famous fanny daggers. It's probably round ligament pain. I've had it a few times and it's sharp and makes you stop what you're doing for a second, but doesn't last long. Take it easy on yourself as everything stretches.
