31 weeks, sharp pains at top of uterus

I am having persistent sharp pain at the top of my uterus on one side, exactly at the same spot. It feels like its chaffed or like an open wound on the inside. Anyone experience something like this? It's getting worse day by day. At first I thought it was because this is also where I feel baby moving mist, but it's not an ache-like feeling. Something to worry about or report to doctor?

Have a chat with your gp to put your mind at rest but at about 30 weeks I had really bad stitch-like pain, took my breath away, for few days as my little one stretched upwards into a convenient breech position! It really hurt and felt like I had internal bruising! Paracetamol helped ease it a little. X

I had this too and was told it was just my uterus/tendons stretching. It has since turned into more of a burning pain. I put an ice pack on the top of my bump and it really helps. But the baby hates it and kicks me like crazy. I guess she doesn't like the cold ice on her little bum. Poor girl. Smile

Same thing here, feels a bit like a huge chinese burn across the top of my bump. I've had it for months, now 39 weeks and so looking forward to saying goodbye to this particular pain (well I hope it goes!) wearing a bra, even a huge scary granny type one, has been too painful with it so I hate to think about the permanent sagging damage I've done to my previously quite pert pair! I second the ice or a hot water bottle as offering a bit of relief.
