I'm 29 weeks and have a cold came in with reduced movement and was put on monitor. When she attached Leads for my heartbeat the alarm kept going off so she turned Down the alarm volume. Now I've just noticed babies heartbeat is dropping to 80s too 100 and no nurse in sight and no alarm to sound fs and I don't have a buzzer to ring:( am I over reacting or am I right to assume something is wrong x

Stop posting photos and get help. Shout for help.

Take yourself off the monitor and find someone if you have to.

LittleBearPad · 14/09/2015 10:52

U strap yourself and go get help. Turn the alarm up. Scream if you need to

TheTravellingLemon · 14/09/2015 10:54

I hope someone's come to help you OP. go and find someone if you need to Flowers

DriverSurpriseMe · 14/09/2015 11:03

I hope no one tries to fob you off. You need to see one of the on call obstetricians. Ask to see him/her if the midwives don't mention it.

CalliopeTorres · 14/09/2015 11:06

It may be picking up your pulse (looks like it from the tiny bit of trace I can see) absolutely don't take my word for it though, it needs to be seen by one of the midwives.

Panic over was a false alarm. Monitor started picking up my heart beat apparently and when they got her again it was 145 thank god. I'm such a worrier

Good Smile

You're not being a worrier - anyone would have panicked seeking those numbers.

Skiptonlass · 14/09/2015 13:00

Not a worrier at all! If I'd seen those numbers I'd have yelled the place down!

Very glad it was a false alarm. Very concerning no one came when you called.

mummyneedinganswers · 14/09/2015 14:08

It was a joke she turned alarm off on monitor which would have went off if she hadn't of. And I didn't have a buzzer I kept calling as could here people outside the room and no-one came. My heart was in my throat was so scared x

This happened to me - but it was a placental abruption. You did the right thing.
