Or is it just me? I'm only 8 weeks which means I've got ages to go! But I feel as sick as a dog because I've got hyperemesis, on a million Meds to control it which is just causing me to be constipated, tired and feel like a zombie! Also have awful indigestion, bloating (from what??? I can barely eat or drink anything without chucking it up!), heartburn, acid reflux.

I have a just turned two year old that I can no longer look after, a grumpy oh who is irritated by me because he has to take over my old jobs and who frankly irritates me because his smell is enough to make me puke!

I'm stuck indoors all the time because I can barely walk and signed off work. Why on earth I forgot what it was like the first time with the hg and decided to have another is beyond me? Feel slightly guilty as I mc in July and got pregnant with this one straight away so I shouldn't complain...but I just feel like crap!!

Anyone else who hates pregnancy...join me and rant away!

What's the thread is it literally HG thread ??

WhattaMorning · 13/09/2015 20:38

Cyclizine, ondandestrone and ranitidine are the meds I'm on too. Cyclizine makes me feel like a complete zombie but I can't recommend ondandestrone enough!

Spandau, you could possibly be borderline hg by the sounds of it! It's literally called hyperemesis support under pregnancy. I'm sorry. Not good at hooking up links. I hate that nausea feeling too but when I would rather not throw up stomach acid like I do now.

Whatamorning, it seems you are me! I think the drugs work better on me through iv. I still feel like dying with all these pills.

What's the ondandestrone is it any good at stopping you feel so sick ?? Need to function but don't wanna damage baba as only 6 weeks :/

My SIL said she misses being pregnant! Wish she could do the pregnancy for me seeing as she loved it so much.

spandau1980 · 13/09/2015 20:56

Lol I hate ppl like that lol

goodenoughmum88 · 13/09/2015 21:48

It's not so much the pregnancy it's other fucking People asking personal questions that they think they have the right to just because you're up the fucking duff! Drives me mad! My in laws can't keep their mouths shut so I end up telling them nothing because otherwise I know it's gossiped about all the time in that family.
Yes the bump is big, I'm measuring normal, I don't know the sex, it is just one, if you ask me anymore personal questions I'm going to fucking sit on you!!!!

I've always preferred IV too. I think they must use a higher dose as cyclizine in particular has more of an effect on me if given by IV. Does it make you feel really high/whoozy for a few minutes too?

spand Ondandestron is the best antisickness I have taken so far. It is as my midwife would say 'the champagne of antisickness' and one of the stronger meds available (usually given to chemo patients)

They are very expensive compared to other sickness meds and so HCP can be reluctant to prescribe them. It took me 28 weeks and probably about 15+ hospital admissions before I was eventually given them. I think it's doubtful that you would be given them at 6 weeks if I'm honest. They're more likely to try you on buccastem/cyclizine/metrachlopromide etc first.

Hi I hate being pregnant too and feel so guilty for admitting it as I had two miscarriages before. But I feel so sick even while on the meds that it just knocks me for six. I was prescribed ondansetron at 8 weeks when I was admitted to hospital with ++++ ketones for iv meds and rehydration. My doctor had already tried me on cyclizine, buccastem and a blue tablet (not sure what that was). None of which worked at all. IV cyclizine is really good. It did make me woozy and also I would shake a bit after it which was weird.

I'm not enjoying it either! Glad I'm not the only one. The tiredness is making me a moody cow and I'm fed up with people saying it gets better. Its not getting better!!!!

spandau1980 · 14/09/2015 11:56

Oh the crap.of it only lasts til 12 weeks ... yea jog on I don't think so... the reflux is awful can't take zantac til 12 weeks
Got given cyclizine tablets
Will they just sit in my cupboard after reading the leaflet I dunno.
I've done this so many times without stuff feel guilty asking for help
But need them :*(
