Dd's class teacher is just about to go on maternity leave. We both think it would be nice to give her a little something for the baby and something for her to pamper herself in those final weeks before she no longer has time for herself.
Apart from the obvious things such as some lovely bath stuff, what would you mners put in a parcel just for the mum-to-be?

How about a good book and a gift voucher for a foot massage.

you can buy mother to be packs from Avent - lovely massage oil, relaxing foot spray, shower gel etc.... any boots store should have one.... perhaps a goood book and some chocs too.

Neals Yard also do lovely mother to be packs, with bits and bobs in that I can't quite remember but one thing was a gorgeous massage oil , oh and a small lip balm.

I think the catalogue Little Green Earthlets do one too - I kept leaving it open on the page so DH could get the hint but, needless to say, he didn't. It has bath salts for afterwards as well as massage oils and stuff.

How about a mini bottle of champers or fizzy wine for after birth, a HUGE bar of chocolate, a glossy magazine that has nothing to do with pregnancy or babies and some perfume/ make up samples, so she can get ready for visitors and millions of pics without having to take it all to the hospital with her.

Am really looking forward to doing it with dd and wrapping it all up in a pretty box
