You'll be getting your date for your scan any day now it will be in a couple of weeks time. The dating scan wil be booked based on the dates midwife has. Congratulations!!

Brilliant news! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy Smile

Congratulations Flowers

I had to book my scan directly with the ultrasound department. The midwife gave me a referral form.

You should have your scan within a couple of weeks, but just be prepared for them to say you're a lot earlier along, particularly if you were POAS and got BFN before BFP.

If like me you're a POAS junkie, I'd assumed you were approx 4 weeks when you got your BFP, then that will prepare for being not as far along.

Good luck and massive congratulations!!

MrsPCR · 12/09/2015 08:56

I mean a BFP after a BFN in the days/week leading up to your BFP if you get what I mean?

TheMrs04 · 12/09/2015 09:01

Yeah I recon I'm only about 5 weeks! I used to be a POAS person but after 5 years and a lot on money later I decided to give that up it was only when I was feeling really sick and my boobs were so sore my sister gave me one of hers I was expecting it to come back neg but to my surprise I got a big fat positive lol thanks girls!! Your all amazing x

Congratulations Flowers what lovely news for you!

PosterEh · 12/09/2015 09:15

I only started feeling sick at about 9 weeks in both my pregnancies (and then went on to be very sick until 16 weeks). So you could be a bit closer to ten weeks from that information.

TheMrs04 · 12/09/2015 10:16

I'm just hoping everything is ok with baby! My hubby is so excited he's already picked names.. I had no choice lol good job I trust him Grin

I started wretching at 3+4 and vomiting from 4w so although I know I started early, it can happen and all that crap you read about 'MS doesn't start until 6 weeks' is rubbish. Had my scan the other day and dates changed by one day.

Either way, you're pregnant and that's all that matters Grin

That's it been out for a meal today for my brothers birthday and I had to leave half way through! I haven't told a lot of my family yet and they are now wondering what is wrong!! So I guess they all know now!! Plus my mum has a fog horn for a mouth lol!! Love her really! Smile

Congratulations!! Wonderful news after 5 years of trying!

Just to be very average I started being morning sick at 6 weeks on the dot lol!

TheMrs04 · 12/09/2015 19:07

My sister was 5 weeks when she had Ms so I was expecting it lol.. Although I have just demolished a chocolate doughnut and my husband has just turned round and said I thought you didn't want any! Not my fault they're right in front of me lol
