I'm 34 weeks pregnant, expecting a baby boy and recently I've been getting a lot of movement thats like hiccups, but I've read that it could be involuntary movement, should I be worried that he does this alot?

My DS used to have 2 bouts of hiccups every day at exactly the same time. You could set your watch by it. Even after he was born he'd get hiccups every day for about the first 8-10 weeks.
This time round my twins get hiccups at least once a day too. I find it hilarious when one starts hiccupping and it makes the other one jump! Grin

Ah Rockermummy that sounds so cool!

Sorry Kimbo, I'm only 12 weeks so no help here.

Absolutely normal!! Both my 2 had daily hiccups. It was odd at first but quite amusing towards the end when my whole belly would gently jump!

My DS used to get the hiccups numerous times a day lasting for around 10 minutes at a time sometimes. He was quite a hiccuppy baby once he was born too, the slightest of giggles would set them off and even now at almost 2 he still gets them if he's been properly laughing.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant again and this baby seems to get them quite often too. Not so much as my first did so far but I quite enjoy them in any case. It gives me some indication of how he is currently positioned.

DD was hiccuping endlessly in the womb. Multiple time a day towards the end. She too was a very hiccupy baby (and indeed, still gets hiccups about once a day or so, at 2.5 years old!)
