What's everyone managing to eat?

So I'm feeling guilty about my poor diet at the moment but suffering with hyperemesis so I can't stomach much healthy stuff. Why on earth is that? Anyway today I have had a fairly good day so far and have managed to eat quite a lot.

Breakfast: small bowl porridge with milk
Lunch: 3 mini chicken Kiev bites, 8 oat and syrup biscuits, grapes, handful of Pringles (spread out all these over the day)
Dinner: small portion of chicken pie, roasted gnocchi, baked beans
Also have had loads of water and a naughty peanut butter hot chocolate drink.

I just feel guilty because it's nowhere near as healthy as I would normally like to eat although I'm very glad I've managed something.

I pretty much lived on cheese, mini cheddars and croissants in my first trimester. Weirdly I couldn't stomach fruit at all (or anything particularly sweet, which is highly unlike me). I doubt many vegetables passed my lips either.

Don't beat yourself up about it - I had a similarly crap diet in my first trimester with DD and she's now a very bright, very bubbly 2 year old, so doesn't seem to have done her much harm.

I only ate 'beige' food for pretty much the entire 1st trimester. And like citydweller, there was a lot of cheese!

Yep bland food like slices of mozzarella (the kind for making pizza) hardly tastes of anything! Plain cooked chicken pieces, yogurt also good.

CARBS

So many carbs Sad

I had two slices of avacado on toast this morning (good) shared stole my pupils' snacks of banana and apple (good) mid morning.

Lunch was a sandwich from co op... Egg and slow roasted tomato (acceptable) pain au chocolat (hmmm) and strawberries (good)

Dinner has been a long, drawn out affair because I feel sick leaving work. Two scotch eggs, one dipped in hummus. A slice of bread and hummus. Another pain au chocolat. A frijj chocolate milkshake.

Thank you. I'll try not to worry too much about it then and just eat the best I can. I'm glad when I have days where I can at least eat something as too many days are spent feeling so sick I can only pick at the odd thing.
