Feeling unsociable

Is anyone else feeling unsociable during pregnancy?

I??m not sure if it??s due to feeling so tired or not being able to enjoy wine with friends, but I feel like a can??t be bothered to socialise lately. I??m usually the one to organise things in my friendship group, but I??ve just not felt like it.

But equally, I got upset with my husband yesterday that I feel bored and we??re not doing anything fun (we??re renovating so that??s taken over our lives and finances lately).

I guess I??m just feeling restless and not sure what to do with myself! Is anyone else feeling the same?

I am!

Yes, during my first pregnancy I made an effort to go out but I really didn't want to. Even once my son was born I didn't want to, I have been like a hermit ever since! I don't particularly know why I feel that way. I am pregnant with DC2 now, due in 7/8 weeks and I've been worse this time around I just don't want to do anything.

I'm the same. It's more that I had friends who I spent time with as our kids all got on but have nothing in common with them and find it too much like hard work.

Also I planned this pregnancy so I could have a few weeks rest when DS started school, but I'm so bored and restless.

ruby - I was exactly the same! I was like that up until 20/21 weeks. I was the extrovert, always planning stuff for the gang, with or without the men. our social group went very quiet between weeks 7 + 20 for me, and only now can I be bothered to even reply to our group FB message.

It does get better Flowers
