Hi all,

34 weeks and getting quite bad diahorrea. Have had it on and off throughoit pregnancy but the last 24 hours it's really gone up a level and it's awful. Should I be worried! Does it mean something? Don't really want to call midwife as been bothering her a lot about trivial stuff so wanted to ask on here first if it's normal?

You might have a stomach bug. Which won't cause any harm to you or baby as long as it runs its course in 48 ish hours. Any longer I might be tempted to give midwife a call.

I thought I was starting labour at 39 weeks with DS. Had just had a sweep and cramps started. Followed by bad stomach. Turned out to be a sickness bug and it was over about 3 days later.

Just make sure to keep hydrated. Especially if you happen to be sick as well.
