Nearly 37 weeks and baby is transverse. Chances of turning?

Then title says it, really. Does anyone have experience of being transverse this late in the pregnancy? What was the outcome? Going in to chat with the consultant tomorrow but would be good to get an idea of what to expect.

Try the spinning babies website. There's exercises that you can do but at 37 weeks it's quite late, although I'm sure not impossible. I've heard putting a bag of frozen peas on your babies head can turn them because they don't like the cold! Maybe try that!

Dc2 turned from transverse at 38w, the day before my c section was due.

Dc4 turned from breech at 38w on the day I was being scanned to assess me for a section.

Yes, DC2 would not stay in one place but usually returned to being transverse regularly. I had a caesarean due to 'unstable lie'.

Mine didn't and was still transverse when I went into labour. Had a CS which was best outcome for my family

I used to lie on the floor with a big pillow under my bum and my feet on the sofa, ice pack on the top of my bump. After a few attempts baby shifted round.
