Hi everyone, sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been covered i'm new here. I'd like to get a bedside cot but we're really limited on space where we live (1 bed apartment with pretty much no storage areas), so it would be difficult to get a bedside cot, and then have to get another cot after 6 months. I was hoping to get one thing for the baby to sleep in that will last up to when he's 1 year old, as hopefully then we can move to a bigger place. Does anyone know if there are any bedside cots that last up to a year?

We bought a folding mini crib which is meant to last at least s year. It fits by our bedside and will move to baby's room after six months. Not this brand but very similar.

A babybay maxi would do it. A great, simple design.

We've got one of these: en.mokee.eu/cots.html?SID=16pjit6kbqo38o0hjaubbor0f0

I love the muted colours they come in Smile

They are lovely arv! Great value too.

Yep... it takes a few weeks for them to arrive though as they come from Poland. It was quite easy for us to put together (ok, dh... I just held bits for him and told him to be careful with it!!!)

I don't mean to hijack the thread but can I ask if you've used it yet? If so, did baby go to sleep ok in it or did they need something extra like a sleepyhead? I've massively fallen for it (I was previously planning to bankrupt myself on a snuzpod) but need to do some measuring.

I'm sorry, I haven't used it yet. I'm being induced on Monday though, so could feedback in a week or two when I know more!

I haven't got a sleepyhead... I might need one, but that's what next day delivery is for, right?

Ikea sniglar cot is great for co sleeping - just don't fit one side of the bars but if you want to use it as a proper cot later then you can just put the side back on. Nice and cheap too :)
