My hands and feet are quite puffy now, I've also started itching :-/ am I worrying over nothing and itching due to the swelling or do you think I need to get this checked out?

I'm 37+3 and my feet are enormous, my hands a lil buy puffy but no real itching - I'm under consultant care at the minute which means I see someone twice a week, they are constantly checking the puffiness as one of the precursors to preeclampsia so I would say go and get it checked out - or call your midwife for advice.

Itching at this stage really must be checked due to the risk of obstetric cholestasis, sorry. Definitely worth a call.

Agree with Quills, you need to have a blood test to rule out obstetric cholestasis.

yes please get it checked out sooner rather than later; could be cholestasis

Thank you :-)

Went to the hospital who ran some blood tests. Everything is fine. I'm just itchy apparently Wink
