Hi all just wanted to see if anyone was suffering with bad headaches? I'm 13 weeks and have had a bad one on and off for days now. I've been told headaches are common in pregnancy but also that that could mean high blood pressure and should be checked out. I'm not seeing midwife till end of month and don't wanna be a hypercondriact and go docs for no reason! Advice pls x Confused

Yep bad headaches. All the time. I'm 19 weeks.

You are too early for it to really be high blood pressure so chances are its dehydration. That's what I've been told and I try to drink as much water as possible

But it sucks

Yeah I got them too. 4head stick worked absolute wonders, but drink plenty in case you're dehydrated.

Agree withBrummie you're too early door pre-eclampsia, I got lots of headaches early on too. Ask MW to check at the end of the month, drink plenty in the meantime.

I'm 22 weeks and have suffered with headaches from the start. I went to see a consultant about it and they ain't worried. my blood pressure is low so I dunno why mine are so bad haha. like the others said keep drinking and that should help you.

Take paracetamol every 6 hours. Took me 2 days of it for them to finally go. Even if it feels like it's not helping, it builds up in your system. Also make sure you get enough sleep and drink plenty of water.

I suffered headaches once I started the 2T - after the sickness had stopped. They only lasted for 2 weeks, and I drink a lot more fluids now.

Don't be afraid to take paracetamol either.
