Hi mummies/mummies to be,

Just looking for advice and what happened with yourselves really.

I'm 40+1 first baby.

Thought waters had gone last night so went to be checked over.

They think but can't confirm my back waters may be leaking.

So had a sweep done at 3am.

I am 2cm dilated and cervix is open. 80% effaced.

Have had Braxton hicks all day very strong and sharp stabbing knife like pains high in vagin (which I assume is my cervix??) All day but no contractions/bump pain etc

Just looking to see if any of you lovely ladies have been through the same and just a look at what happened next.... Hmm

Xxxx

Usually if your waters are leaking/have gone they give you a certain amount of time to go into labour yourself (24/48 hrs) then usually start the induction process.
Do yo have an appointment to go back? Have they given you a plan of action?

And now you wait - certainly sounds as though things are trying to happen for you and as buttwing says they'll only give you a certain amount of time before they take over xx good luck xx
