Anyone on here have experience with eating gluten free at Disneyland Paris? I'm going in November and wondering what food options there will be for us, what restaurants are suitable for us? Having the continental buffet breakfast in hotel Santa Fe. I'm hoping there will be suitable options there.

Forgot to say that I will be 5 months pregnant by then hence posting on this board for advice so I'm really not wanting to take any risks with the food in case my symptoms are worse during pregnancy.

I can't comment about Paris, but all menus at Disneyworld in Florida have all the normal items then the menu is split down into what is suitable for gluten free, shellfish allergy, peanut allergy etc etc

Just Google Disney dining at DLP and all the menus should come up

Again I went to Disney in Florida and they were amazing. When we arrived we went to town hall and they gave us dining options for the park so I would go to the equivalent at paris

Ok thank you for the advice. I have checked the menus but they don't specify which dishes are gluten free. I can of course use my judgement and stick to meat and veg. I'm ok with a little cross contamination. Don't usually react too badly to that. I will also pop to city hall when I am there and hope they can advise me where in the park would be worth trying to eat.

Don't want to be voice of doom but France not so great with labelling, and whilst typical French food is simple eg salad and steak, frites etc DLP is renown for poor food quality- burger and carb heavy, do you have any self catering option? Are you staying on park? If you email them they will be able to send menus etc as it certainly won't be a new question. Also how is your French? If low then take screen shots of key French phrases such as no gluten, need gluten free etc to be able to show servers
Worth taking a few snacks for on the go, though there will be plenty of fruit I'm sure
Have fun it will be great

Hi I'm staying in hotel Santa Fe so pretty much restricted to park meals but I do plan to take along a selection of gluten free snacks and croissants. That sort of thing. I did find some photos on the Internet of the gluten free meals offered by DLP eventually and they unfortunately look terrible. I'm really hoping that if I go to buffets I'll be able to get plain meat, rice, veg and potatoes, that kind of thing. I know there's a risk of cross contamination but usually I don't have too much trouble with that so I'm hoping if I play it very safe with my choices I'll be ok. Really looking forward to it now. Just bought us thermals as its Christmas season when we are going and we may well freeze! Thanks for the tip on phrases to request gluten free. I'll definitely do that as back up if I need it.
