What baby bouncer?

I know this probably isn't the right place to post this but not had much luck in other places!
I'm looking at baby bouncers and have managed to narrow it down to two, the Chicco hoopla or joie owl rocker.
The Chicco is just a simple bouncer whereas the joie one has vibrations & music. Do little extras like this actually make a difference for baby or is it just something else to go wrong?!

The baby born one. I had fussy babies and can't recommend it enough. It's expensive but the fabric can go in the washing machine so worth looking on eBay.

I keep seeing people rave about the baby Bjorn bouncer but when I go look at it it looks pretty expensive and I don't understand why, it doesn't seem especially amazing...am a I missing something ?

My ds wasn't a fan of the bouncer at all, even less so with the vibrations and music on so I wasted my money by getting a fancy one.

That said, I know of other mums who have said that the vibrations were a godsend for getting their baby off to sleep.

Not much help sorry but I would say it depends on the baby.

We bought a Fisherprice one that was on offer in ToysRUs for £10 (after DS wouldn't settle in the £90 Mamas and Papas Job). Simple metal frame but it did have a vibration thing on it. Used it til his arse was scraping the floor. Best £10 spent!

We had a Fisher Price bouncer which vibrated and our 2 loved it.
The vibrations really helped them to drop off and they loved to have a little nap , this meant it was easy to have them napping in seat in kitchen whilst I got on with dishes etc.

I've gone for a £5 off eBay- it was virtually brand new. I've heard a number of people that spent £60 or more on a fancy one and their baby just scream in it. If baby likes it I'll buy a better one at a later date

Don't get music it will drive you bonkers.

The reason babybjorn one is so popular is you can use 0-2 years as it is balanced different so sturdy . Almost all others say don't use once baby can sit as they can topple it over which can be as young as 4 months with some so limited use

I've just had a look at the baby bjorn on Amazon and I'm at the price! The reviews are good though.

We got this one, although it was on sale at the time. The vibration is really, really useful for, um, digestive issues in my 11 week old DS! He seems to quite like the music, but he won't sit in it for any great length of time. He will occasionally sleep in it. We got a swinging one too but he absolutely hated it.

I don't know what makes the baby bjorn one so good but ds was a nightmare newborn and it was the one place he was happy to be put down. We had tried several others previously. It was £15 at a nearly new sale from memory.
