Groups for 1st time single mummy's to be

Hi all,

I've just signed up to Mumsnet and my baby is due any time now (I'm currently 38 weeks!????). I wondered if anyone knew of any places to meet other 1st time single mums around the Tooting, Wandsworth or Mitcham areas? It would be really good to get to know other ladies in a similar situation, especially once baby's here.

Would appreciate any info on this.

I'm not sure but where I am there's Children's Centres called Visions. They have groups for lone parents I think called Gingerbread. Have you checked to see if you have a kids centre in your area?
