Armpit pains :-(

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice. This is my first pregnancy im 29 +3 over the past few days i keep getting shooting pains in both my armpits at the same time am just wondering if anybody else has experienced this??

It's probably breast/milk related. Breast tissue extends much further than you might think and almost to the armpit.

Your breasts gearing up to go maybe? That does cause shooting pains. Check with your midwife next time you see her :)

That's what I was going to say boobs getting ready. I get this monthly and it was even worse when pregnant.

Google 'ancillary tail of spence' and you'll see how far up into the 'pits the tissue goes :)

Thanks i was thinking it could be something to do with my milk just wasnt sure no swelling or anything that i could see i have been leaking milk since 18 weeks though .. Also just got hemorrhoids quite painfull Sad

Ive just had a look on google it really does go up quite far the tissue learn somethingnew everyday :-)
