20 week scan twins

Hi there. I'm currently pregnant with identical twins and just got back from my 20 week scan. Me and my partner do not want to know the sex but while at the scan he noticed on the screen that it said the sex was female. So just wondering if anybody knows if the suprise has been ruined or is that field automatically filled out anyway. Thank you.

That means you are female - the sonographer enters your details into the machine . They haven't revealed anything don't worry!

Thank you so much! I thought that myself but he wasn't convinced that's what it meant. Was getting a wee bit upset for a minute there. All smiles again. Thanks for your reply! X

It's your gender they are referring to! They have to enter it as the sonography equipment is the same as that used in other medical fields - not that they get a number of pregnant men!
